Mikanos was an extremely friendly and engaging host. The breakfast was outstanding. The location is perfect i.e. about 2 minutes from the small town, not too quiet not too busy....goldilocks. One of a couple of places in the world we've been to that we'd return to

We had a great stay. Hotel was sparkling clean. Lovely pool and simple but very good breakfast with freshest vegetables and feta every day. We stayed at the sea view appartments for one night. The appartment is nicely furnished, has spatious terrace, comfortable bed and fully equpied kitchen. There are restaurants, caffes and grocery stores nearby. There was plenty of parking space. We could not make it before reception closed, at 4PM ...

Galini is my favourite resort in Crete! Laid back and awash with excellent Food and great local characters! My favourite Tavernas are Onar & Madame Hortense, although to be fair all of them are worth a go! I’ve been visiting here for 17 years!
