"We enjoyed our stay here - the staff answered messages quickly, and the room although basic had everything needed for a few nights stay including a small well equipped kitchen area (kettle, coffee machine, stove hob). Bathroom was small but perfectly useable. A bit more information about the area would be useful but that's what the internet is for. Check in was via a coded key pick up. The location is about 15 minutes walk from main areas of the town. "

"We had never been to Crete before and we have loved it. The hotel is in a beautiful setting with sea views. All the staff are fantastic, excellent service and incredibly helpful when organising excursions. The rooms we had were clean and met our expectations. Being slightly outside Agia Pelagia itself means that it is a little quieter but it is easy to get to the beach when you want to. The food we had at the hotel surpassed our expectations, breakfasts were plentiful of high quality and great variety. Evening meals were amazing, we ate at several taverna/restaurant by the beach at Agia Pelagia and the food was good, but the hotel restaurant quality and flavours were amazing. I have two teenage boys who would live on pizza and burgers given the chance but they loved their meals. That in itself is high praise. The service from George and his team was brilliant, we never met the chefs but a big thank you to them. The pianist on Monday evenings and Cretan night on Friday lent a special dimension to our stay and the latter was great fun. We were very sad to leave as we had an amazing holiday. Thank you Happy Cretan"

"We booked a loft suite for a week. From the moment we arrived till we left what more can you say other than.. Brilliant. The hotel is really well laid out and whilst it’s big it never gives the feeling of an all inclusive full of guests. If you want privacy, relaxation and away from the normal crowds then this is a great choice. The food is brilliant and honestly the choice and quality is fantastic. The desserts are something else. The genuine care and friendliness of the team who work here are probably what stands out. Well worth it and would highly recommend."

"All the plants and trees and flowers are really beautiful and well maintained. The lighting of the property is gorgeous. The views are picturesque. It's a small, quiet and peaceful hotel.Rooms and grounds are super clean. The design of the pool areas is very pretty. Breakfast is basic but filling. Ground staff although very pleasant and helpful was lingering around the hilltop suites area a lot, like really a lot-it was taking away the privacy a bit. We are in our 40s and we're glad we had our own pool and terrace to chill as the crowd was mostly young "instagram" couples- lacking warmth, a smile or good manners that usually come with experience ( or upbringing😉). Also, I don't know how but there were hardly any mosquitoes. There is a party hotel above Irida, which had parties every day from around 9 till 11pm. It echoed around the whole neighborhood!- we didn't mind-sounds of people being happy and enjoying themselves and the traditional live music was even beautiful on occasion!-but it's something to consider."

"The room and property were gorgeous and pristine clean. Everything looks like it was recently updated or renovated. I stayed at the pool level where my patio was located and then I walked down 3 steps into the bedroom level, which also had the updated bathroom. The pictures shown in Hotels.com are true to form. I felt like I had my own apartment. I could not hear anybody as it was soundproof. The staff was professional and so friendly, which is what made my stay extra special. I even fell in love with the local cat who came to visit me every day. This hotel is within steps of the beach, grocery store and other shops. I was able to walk to another beach. Plenty of amazing restaurants within a very short walking distance of the property. I did not want or need a car as I just chilled for the three days that I was here, but there is parking available. I would highly recommend this hotel to everyone and if and when I come back to Crete, I will definitely be staying here."
