"We had a wonderful stay at John and Mary Suites. Our double room was beautifully well appointed, with a very comfortable bed and a lovely modern shower room. Everything was spotlessly clean and clearly very well cared for. "The lady in charge couldn’t do enough for us and she put on a decent enough breakfast each morning. Her qualities stemmed from her good nature and willingness to assist us in every way. Her lack of English language skills meant she lacked the werewithall to help on other issues such as a lack of certain bathroom equipment such as a plug for the sink. Such small inconveniences didn’t bother us but it may do others.The lady’s son attended regularly and he could speak English more than adequately. The room was always clean and everyone down at breakfast seemed to be perfectly happy with the place."

"Breakfast was amazing. The room felt new and modern, and was impeccably cleaned every day. I enjoyed the location right across the street from the beach, and close to all the shops in Plakias. I would not pay for the sea view patio again, as it was mostly a view of people’s roofs, unlike the photos online. The staff was so nice on check-in. They sat down with us and gave us fresh lemonade, which we appreciated. Later on, I had a few simple questions for the front desk and got responses from staff that were irritable and even condescending. Maybe everyone was in a bad mood since it had been raining, but in the weeks we traveled, it happened three times there, and nowhere else."

"The hotel location is fantastic, very peaceful, with well kept and beautiful grounds. Food is excellent, staff and service equally so. Whilst the rooms are basic ours was very clean and the swim up pool, whilst shared with two other rooms, felt private. We had a wonderful ten days all inclusive, which was excellent value. We'd 100% return! Not a place to go if you're bothered about watching television 🙂"

"Great sea views and easy 5 minute walk to Agia Galini beach. Room 212 was spacious, bed was comfortable, pool was beautiful and had ample sun-beds and shade, and the AC worked great. Improvements that would enhance the stay include figuring out and fixing the sewage smell in the room and fixing the moldy trim outside shower. Lacked basic amenities like hair conditioner, had a bottle of hand lotion in the shower instead of hair conditioner- which was really weird. When you leave the room, all electricity turns off which means the mini refrigerator and freezer turn off- you come back to melted ice and warm beer. There is no restaurant on site. They do have a snack bar at the pool open until 5 pm. They have buffet breakfast with a lot of hot and cold choices each morning. If you want real orange juice, cappuccino, or espresso there is an additional charge (most hotels include these options via self serve machines). In the evening they offer a buffet dinner. Bar is open til late but does not serve food or snacks. We really missed having a restaurant to order from. Good news is plenty of great beach bars and tavernas were short walk away along the beach."

"Very nice resort, with beautiful views of the town, sea, and mountains. Many pools if you ever get tired on the sand at the beach. Beach chairs provided, which was very nice. Location is basically beach side, and about 10 min walk into town, or a 2 minute drive. Rooms were clean, and the shower was enormous!"
