"Pros: Beautiful grounds/buildings and the casitas are close to restaurants, golf, pool, etc. It is a peaceful place, very calming. Staff were very friendly and kind. Cons: Food was unexceptional and expensive. Service was quite slow, even when it was uncrowded. Smaller not deal-killer stuff: There is a fair amount of “dated-ness” and old stuff in the rooms: shower heads, coffee pots, iron, even the tv remotes were really old. The mattress was way too soft. The pool had a lot of debris including dead bees and tree seeds. And also, I’ve never stayed in any hotel, especially an upscale one, with no full length mirror!"
