When I asked about shoe polishing available, they discovered it wasn’t available locally and then drove to the next town to get it for me. "We had a great stay at the White Heather Farmhouse. The room was fine with a comfortable bed. Best of all, Sheila was a wonderful host and she provided us was a solid breakfast in the morning. Highly recommended!"

"We stayed here for one night for a family meeting, and everything was fantastic from start to finish. The location is ideal—just a short walk from Glengarriff town—but still peaceful and scenic. The staff were welcoming and helpful throughout our stay, and the service was excellent. Rooms were clean, spacious, and comfortable—perfect for relaxing after a long day. Dinner at the hotel restaurant was a highlight: delicious food, generous portions, and great local ingredients. Breakfast the next morning was just as good, with plenty of choice for all ages.
