"When I arrived at this property the owner finally answered the door, she said she had no knowledge of my booking. Finally I had to email her a copy of my confirmation. This wasn't made any easier by her statement that "she spoke no English" - the website clearly states multilingual staff. (In fact it later became clear she did speak English). The 'living-room' is actually set out as a shop and did not feel welcoming - I was not invited to use it anyway. The only restaurant in Salives was unable...

"A beautiful chateau, full of charm and character. The room we stayed in was stunning, beautifully quiet with a massive bed. Facilities excellent in terms of pools and spa. Staff were all very welcoming and spoke many languages. The highlight is the restaurant which has a choice of set menus which were quite simply amazing and the wine list very extensive. If you want a pamper weekend away in a glorious setting, this is the place. We will be going back, no doubt about it. Highly, highly...

"The room was spacious, quiet and warm. The dinner was really special. Limited menu but everything was superb as was the service and especially the dinning area. The breakfast was also very good."

Super friendly and lets you feed the horses, really cool experience and just nice people! Top notch French food and highly recommend, especially if you’re into aviation!"
