"Great staff. The lady at the reception spoke English, which was very helpful as I do not speak Uzbek or Russian. They were very kind and helpful. Not much else to add. Great place overall."

"The Hotel Uzbekistan is an icon of Soviet-era Tashkent. While the lobby has been modernised, the rooms still feel straight out of the 1970s, and many corridors seem bizarrely abandoned.
