Great stay in a fjord-town characterful hotel!

"Beautiful historic hotel in a lovely setting, with a warm welcome, great service and a delicious dinner! The freshly made fruit smoothies at breakfast were a nice extra. The only negative thing is that the electric car charger which was plugged into my hire car overnight didn’t work. "

"We loved this hotel. Looking at the antiques and old photos was really fun. The beds were very comfortable and the room really clean. The hotel staff was helpful when asked about hiking or any other questions we had. The breakfast buffet was huge and really good. We were in Geilo during their shoulder season before summer with few restaurants open, so we had both nights dinners in their restaurant. We were not disappointed. The food was excellent. We would highly recommend this hotel! "

"Amazing hotel and staff. Easy ski in&out, very convenient on the slopes. Great view from rooms. SPA and especially sessions with Hannah was a real treat. Very good pizza and food. Highly recommend. Only fall back is you need a taxi to come back from apres-ski and if you dine in the town."
