The resort does not allow local taxis or external transportation services, which limits guests' options for getting around. The in-house transport services are significantly overpriced—often charging 3 to 5 times more than the normal rate. This felt like an unfair advantage being taken of tourists. They say it is government rule but nothing wss shown to support that. If you're planning to stay entirely within the resort, this may not affect you much. Just you'll end up paying much more than expected just for airport transfers or simple outings. Aside from this issue, everything else about the resort was excellent.

Such an amazing place to stay, with everything that you need in the compound. All the staff are amazing and very friendly, especially Rasha who helped with all our requests and gave us great suggestions. will definitely book again when in Salalah
