"Cloud7 is an oasis overlooked by a rugged landscape that surrounds the town of Al Ula. From the moment you set foot in the residence, the staff cannot do enough for you, and go the extra mile to make you feel like a rock star. They all know your name, maybe in part due to the small number of guests, but they will all welcome you with a greeting and smile. The residence has a swimming pool, and a sports bar where you can indulge in a game of pool, darts, and fussball, that also doubles as a café which will serve you the usual burgers and pizzas, along with other delights such as a Thai green curry and tempura prawns. The main restaurant will serve you a decent breakfast with an egg station to whip up any type of omelette, and also doubles as the main dinner venue. There is also a padel court and other activities to keep you occupied should you find the need. The onsite gym is well stocked with plenty of equipment - more than enough to create a decent workout whether it's weights or cardio. The rooms are of a good size and more like a small apartment with an outside terrace, a separate living room, bathroom, and bedroom, and also a small kitchenette where you can make tea and coffee if you feel the need. The whole residence is spotlessly clean with staff visibly cleaning and sweeping constantly. If you find yourself on business or even as a tourist in Al Ula, Cloud7 should be at the top of your list for a home from home and well worth a visit to find comfort and relaxation."

"Ignore the bad reviews! I came to this place and it felt like I was in heaven surrounded by angels. The resort is such a beautiful sight in person, everyone is so kind always ready and willing to guide and help in any way that they can. I’m a black woman and this was my first time solo traveling and everyone made me feel so safe and at home. If you are looking for peace you’ll find it on this resort. Even the tours, I went to reception every morning to book my activities for the day. I booked a private car each time that way I could go anytime/where I want. Qusai at reception was super helpful and kind, he really made everything easy for me. My drivers Mahmoud & Chehab were fantastic, very knowledgeable and great people. I had an amazing time both tours. I saw some bad reviews at first about the golf carts taking long to get to rooms to take people to the pool but from my perspective it felt like they took the reviews into consideration and improved tremendously, I had no issues at all getting around ever! As soon as I called the front desk someone came in a minute or 2. The drivers Ambrose & Bright were so kind and patient when coming to get me. Even the staff at the restaurant Ahdab and Evelyn, such sweet girls, I was alone so they took my pictures for me! I was so shy but they made it fun, even their service and food was amazing. I also recommend the sound bath meditation, such a peaceful & needed time! Thank you Habitas!!"
"Staying at Dar Tantora The House Hotel was nothing short of magical. From the moment I stepped into the historic AlUla Old Town and walked through the mudbrick alleyways to the hotel entrance, I felt like I had traveled back in time—but with all the comforts of modern luxury.
The hotel itself is stunning. Each room is unique, lovingly restored to reflect the region’s rich heritage while still being incredibly comfortable. I stayed in a room with traditional plasterwork, beautiful lantern lighting, and a serene ambiance that made it hard to leave. It felt like I was sleeping inside a piece of living history.
The staff were warm, attentive, and genuinely proud to share the culture of AlUla. Every interaction felt personalized, from the welcome coffee ceremony to the thoughtful turndown service with local dates and herbal tea.
Would I return? In a heartbeat. Dar Tantora isn’t just a hotel—it’s a journey into the soul of Saudi Arabia.

"We stayed in this resort for 3 nights, and everything was perfect. We love the hotel environment, breakfast, and quality room. One thing truly impressed us was the hotel staff hospitality. Our car broke down on the 2nd day of our stay, and one staff, Mr. Hussain Khan offered kind help, went extra miles to drive us to the local repair shop and got it fixed. If not for his help, we would have wasted more time dealing with the car rental company, dramatically cut down our planned activities in AlUla. Many thanks Hussain. Hope this massage gets to Shaden Resort management and recognized Mr. Khan for his kindness and hospitality. - Frank"
