"The lady on the front desk is so welcoming. The restaurant and bar staff are eager to attend to your needs, however, the sheets in the bedroom are very very old and stained. I had to request new sheets but they looked the same. The bed runner and decor cushions were absolutely filthy. I took them off the bed immediately and didn't sleep well at all as even with a change of sheets the bed didn't feel clean. The bath mat was gray with filth. "It is away from the hustle and bustle of the town, which was great. But there was some sort of loud music or karaoke in the evening that was unexpected and went until 11 pm. "

"This is a wonderful boutique hotel full of yesteryear charm from the beautiful colonial building with its antique furniture to the spacious landscaped gardens and the pristine cold water pool. Some distance from Kandy itself but easy enough to access there and all the tourist spots by tuk tuk with Lieyru the manger only to happy to assist with this."

"Nice clean room. Hot shower, soft bed, and a working mini fridge. Enjoyed the balcony, which faces the street. When I booked the room, I thought it said "mountain view" which is true, but a bit of a stretch. Restaurant is pretty good; staff are polite. Check-in was a bit rushed; otherwise, no problems."
