We didn't have hot water when we checked in which was problematic since we were getting ready for a wedding that same evening. We did have hot water upon return. Lights and frig were unplugged in the room. Breakfast was a highlight though - probably one of the best hotel breakfasts we've been too.

The Schenectady county fair was being held right outside the hotel. It was a disaster to get into the hotel parking lot because of road closures for the fair. The music was extremely loud in the rooms until 10:30 PM. Toms of people just lingering, smoking pot in the parking lot and entrance, The hosts were great, the rooms and grounds were clean but very old and worn. The breakfast ladies were phenomenally friendly and helpful. It should have been shared with guests that the fair would be going on.
