"Fabulous hotel, clean, comfortable beds and lovely rooms - we paid for one overlooking the golf course.
The service and friendliness of the staff was second to none.
The pool is a plunge pool (0.8m) on the top floor over looking the golf course which was very cold but just what we needed given we were here in August.
We played golf every day and you definitely need a car to get around as the hotel is isolated but within 6 mins you can reach a supermarket and restaurants by car.
The golf course was brilliant, really long and very tough greens but in fantastic condition and well watered. "
"Good hotel. Room quite small but ok for a 1 night stay. Bed & bathroom good. Very friendly gentleman at reception. Basic but good continental breakfast. Adding wholegrain bread would be a.plus."
"If you need a break from the buzz of Madrid or just a chill stop on your way east, Hotel Ballestar is a great pick. Only an hour’s drive from the city, it’s peaceful and scenic — perfect for unwinding.
The rooms are spacious and comfy, with balconies and amazing sunset views. The whole place feels warm and welcoming, like a home away from home.
Close by, there’s the charming town of Tarancón and the Segóbriga Archaeological Park with its impressive Roman theater — definitely worth a visit.
The hotel’s restaurant serves tasty local food at good prices.
In short, Ballestar isn’t just a place to sleep — it’s a cozy spot you’ll want to come back to."
"Pros - Friendly and efficient staff, bed very comfortable, breakfast quite good, complementary wine at checkout. Cons - sensor over bed has annoying red leds which flash all night. Curtains difficult to open."
"Family room very spacious and comfortable with small bathroom but adequate for short stay. Clean and well decorated, plenty of parking free in the village. Restaurant missing a proper kids menu which was a shame as the family room will attract families and the restaurant is not kid friendly and a bit over priced."
