What a lovely mountain lodge. What a gorgeous area. The food and beer was fantastic and local. The staff were friendly. Everything was great.

Mooie ruime kamer op rustige locatie

Mooie ruime kamer. Goede service (konden nog wat eten bestellen ondanks late aankomst). Was wel warm op de kamer (geen airco) maar door grote ramen kon het ‘s-avonds wat afkoelen. Prima en uitgebreid ontbijt.
Op korte wandeling vanaf het hotel.

Would highly recommend this hotel, it is in a wonderful location for many trekking trails in the area. The hotel itself is set back into the countryside, so it is very quiet. The breakfast was also very tasty, a good spread of cereals, yogurt, lunch meats, and bread and pastries. The beds were comfortable, the bathroom was nice, and the room was spacious

Lidt ude på landet

Hotellet ligger lidt ude på landet, men i skønne omgivelser. Kun 1500 m fra hotellet har man den flotteste postkort udsigt til slottet Hohenzollner, som vi var kommet for at besøge. Naturen er flot og jeg så både hjort, ræve og rovfugle på min morgen tur. Morgenmaden var rigtig fin. Vores værelse var ret stort med (sove) sofa foran fjernsynet og en god seng. Toilet og bad var lidt sjovt plasteret ned af en lang gang, hvor der også var et lille værelse.

We loved our stay here and would return anytime! We just completed a 20 day vacation in Germany and this place was one of our favorites. It’s out in the country! There is a nice walk to view the Hohenzollern castle right from the hotel. There are other hiking trails as well. The breakfast was amazing! We sat outside to eat and the singing birds, sunny day, green grass, fresh air, and light breeze were just wonderful! The room itself was very clean, spacious and modern. Excellent shower. Excellent value too! The bed was firm as we found with almost every German hotel we stayed at. We had a really delayed start to our German vacation with our flight arriving late, slow customs, deadlock traffic due to an accident and we were not able to check in at a reasonable time. It was well past 10pm, and the reception met us at the door, led us to our room, and was extremely kind! Something you may find out of the ordinary in Germany!

Ein rundum positives Erlebnis

Ich war mit einer Freundin übers Wochenende auf einem Seminar und wir haben im Zollsteigerhof übenachtet. Es ist schade das wir zu wenig Zeit hatten die Anehmlichkeiten zu genießen. Gemütliche Atmosphäre, viel Natur drumherum, sehr sauber, netter Service, Sauna und gutes Frühstück. Es gibt keine Spiegel oder Rühreier, aber jeder hat Morgens auf Wunsch ein frisch gekochtes Ei bekommen. Der Milchkaffe ist auch gut. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und würden jederzeit wieder kommen. Es gab sogar glutenfreie Brötchen (auf Anfrage) zum Frühstück.

Urlaubsfeeling auf Geschäftsreise...so möchte ich es beschreiben. Die Unterkunft ist sehr sauber und ordentlich, die Betreiberfamilie sehr nett. Und etwas, das immer Mangelware ist, war dort reichlich vorhanden...Steckdosen. Grundsätzlich nehme ich ja immer einen Dreifachstecker mit auf Reisen. Im Zollersteighof brauchte ihn nicht auszupacken Habe beschlossen, ab jetzt immer dort zu nächtigen, wenn Geschäftsreisen mich nach Albstadt führen. Eine glatte Eins!
