"Great stay here at Alfagar Village. The property was vast - many pools, restaurants and activities for kids/adults. The beach is a bit of a walk away but very convenient to have on the property. The rooms have been updated and were clean. Staff was always accomadating - thanks for Theo and Goncales for all their help with everything! Location was great for travelling to other locations as well and there was ample parking available."

"Fabulous stay, quiet due to the time of year but exactly what we needed. Only a short walk to the fantastic beach which has a scattering of nice restaurant's if you want a change from the hotel and 10 minutes in a taxi to the centre of Albufeira."

"The resort was very clean and the staff were very friendly. It was down season and the resort was very peaceful. It was great to have a washer in the room complete with a drying rack. We were particularly impressed with the Manager who took charged and faced a bit of an issue head on. There was a miscommunication around some maintenance after a call was made to the front desk. The manager took ownership of it, investigated the issue and came out of her way to come speak to us directly. She was professional, listened, apologized and made it right. I work in the service industry and this really stood out to me in a positive way. I would recommend this location if you are looking to step out of the hustle and bustle of the other cities and still be close to the action! You’re a quick drive away!"

"Excellent in most ways but just failing in one key area: the sunbeds which are, after all, used for many hours a day, are far too taut and require, for any comfort for over 15 minutes, a mattress as they have in some of the beds in their sister hotel, 10 minutes' walk away This is such a pity, as so much else is nice about the hotel. It could also do with a wider range of pillows for the room beds, which are memory foam and therefore not the most comfortable. The air conditioning is inadequate and needs to provide lower temperatures. We were too warm every night, in the month of October. As in many resorts, the nightly entertainment is mediocre, with the same kind of musicians playing too loudly, to the discomfort of those who want to chat rather than dance or be deafened, using backing tracks and with little ability to play requests or vary music styles. If the volume was lower, most people could put up with the very average and sometimes below-average singing quality of the artists. This drives away rather than attracts many residents but those who have low appreciation and high tolerance levels. The food was excellent at breakfast and the table arrangements were fine. Pool water was always clean and at a nice temperature, even whilst the sea is warmer than usual. This hotel is closing for an upgrade over the next 6 or 7 months, and we hope that these problems might be addressed to bring it up to the standard of which it is certainly capable. "I had a great stay here! The accommodation was lovely, and the location was perfect. It’s conveniently located close to the Old Town, and if you want to explore the New Town, it’s around a 15-minute walk or just a 5-minute taxi ride away. The hotel staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. I was even given a complimentary upgrade at check-in, which was such a lovely surprise! As a solo female traveller, feeling safe and comfortable is really important to me, and this accommodation exceeded my expectations. I felt safe and secure throughout my stay, and the staff were attentive, looked out for me and made me feel genuinely comfortable. I would definitely recommend this accommodation, especially to anyone travelling solo. Great location, lovely staff and a really positive experience overall. I would happily stay here again!"
