"I have traveled a lot lately and have been staying at Hilton Garden Inn’s but remembered a Sonesta ES Suites I stayed at in Chicago in 2024 and enjoyed so I decided to go with Sonesta bc it was closer to where my son moved to. I was a little disappointed when I saw the location and the overall property and there were visible signs of wear and tear. I shrugged it off the first night bc I was exhausted. I was unable to sleep well as the HVAC system would bang loudly before it come on, two bright blinking lights over the bed all night long, walls were thin and people were loud late at night, and there was a constant beeping off and on in the parking lot. Terrible experience and not relaxing at all. I ended up checking out early and booking a Hilton for my last night. "
"Beautiful place. They did keep messing up as they couldn't access the Hotels.com payment, so we had to pay a second time. We spoke to both folks at hotels.com and the hotel's manage, and we're hoping to get one of those payments back."
"The hotel was conveniently located near the places we needed to be, making it easy to get around. The check-in process was smooth and efficient, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. Overall, it was a pleasant experience, and I would consider staying here again."
