"always enjoy our time in this hotel whenever we drove to melbourne from sydney twice a year. Staff always very friendly, hotel decor gave the vibe as expected from the name. The bed so comfy and feel like a blast from the past. Definitely recommended as a pit stop with convinience location to shops n resto and highway."

"There is everything to like about the Clifton Motel, while it is a classic fifties style of motel from that time in the fifties, the presentation was first class! There were a few minor wear and tear items, but the minor shortcomings were paled into insignificance by the beautiful, clean, comfortable accommodation offered! All topped off by friendly, helpful staff, great place to stay. ten out of ten and, all for a modest tariff. Richard Martin, Yarra Junction."
