"The rooms are absolutely huge and the hotel has an amazing location but the facility is very dated. Needs a fresh coat of paint and a deep cleaning. Everything seems like it’s stuck in the late 90s or early 2000s especially the beachside bar. The deal breaker was the bathroom cleanliness. This place was disgusting. Sooooooooo much hair on the bathroom floor (multiple colours too!). Seriously, I don’t think they clean the floors between guests. The front desk staff was extra helpful and friendly. Unfortunately, they’re not the ones cleaning the floors between guests."

"As soon as we stepped through the door we were treated like VIP's. The girls at the desk were welcoming, friendly and very helpful. Our room on the 4th floor had a fabulous view of Adelaide. The room was very quiet, comfortable and clean. Breakfast had a good selection to choose from. Tonsley train station was an easy ten minute walk."

"Good parking. Nice restaurant / takeway on-site. Small room with table & 2 chairs, nice bathroom, cutlery and plates but no cooking facilities only microwave, jug, toaster, fridge, no freezer. No sink or anywhere to wash dishes and cups, but a tea towel available. Room needed airing on arrival. Needs new curtains. Handy to supermarket, gas. Only 7 min drive to Port Elliot or Granite Island causeway."

"The grounds are beautiful. Right next to Shiraz trail for bicycle or walking.. The room was large, clean and had what was needed. The hotel room is a little older style. Loved that you could sit outside and have a wine or two. Reception staff was also very friendly and efficient check in.."

"Staff were very friendly and helpful. The first room we were given was let down by a poorly cleaned bathroom and tile grout that needed a deep clean or refreshing. When the Manager was made aware of this he kindly upgraded our room to one that was in much better condition. Overall though while the rooms themselves were well presented the bathrooms are looking a little tired. Certainly not a luxury feel."
