"For the price you pay, it’s not bad. The decor may need an update, but the pictures online are true to form. My only real gripe was the plastic mattress protector on the obviously new mattress- you’ll wake up in a pool of sweat in the middle of the night. Nevertheless, I still give my overall experience 5 stars because of the hotel’s staff. They went above and beyond to help me from restaurant reservations, what points of interest to see, and even printed several documents I needed for me. At the end of the day, a hotel is really just a fungible service - a bed to sleep in. The difference is service. I would definitely recommend. "

"I stumbled upon Sombea during a trip through Southern Germany, and I highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the area. "Nice comfortable room. Would have been nice to have a kettle or something for making hot drinks. There is no reception , just a self check in area but it was easy and quick to use. "
