It also happens to be adjacent to a very nice family-friendly tavern with very welcoming staff, good food for takeout, and excellent choices in local craft beers. "We stayed one night in a "suite" in the "executive wing" while passing through the area. Overall it looks like most hotels of this time period/style. Some renovations have been done. Room and building were clean enough. Bed and bedding were clean and comfortable. Jetted tub in room was great. Unfortunately didn't have time to use the pool but it looked very nice. Great value for the price. Would definitely return. Location is excellent for visiting Battleship Cove and other attractions."
