Hotel 1904 is a very nice hotel. The hotel is in a beautiful old building but it is totally updated and renovated inside. It is in a great location. It is close to shops, restaurants and the ferry and bus stops.

Hotel is all over nice. Breakfast is really good and WiFi is super fast. Great location in the center of the town. Staff is very friendly and helpful. However, one area is bad is the bathroom. It has a tiny sink with no place to put glass or toothbrushes which makes it very unpleasant to use. For over $329/night, I would expect something better. Next time, I would book with other hotels in the Neighbourhood.

My overall stay was excellent…. Fantastic hospitality and hotel. My only suggestion would to be to add a proper chair in each room for the desk. The very, very low soft chair was not adequate.

Throughout my travels in Norway, this hotel was my absolute favorite. Loved the overall style of the property, and the room was wonderful. Nearly everything is within walking distance. Restaurant on site is also very good!
