"The hotel receptionist Pedro was fantastic. He was professional, helpful and kind. He should be promoted to manager. The kitchens delivered up delicious food. Our server in the restaurant was forgetful though. We stayed one night in the Design hotel and the other night in the Kroener connected sister hotel. Both of our rooms were beautiful, well decorated, spacious and clean. I recommend these hotels. "
"This hotel is great. Beautiful, clean, the rooms are big, the amenities are great. It seems most appropriate for couples but families with older kids will love it too. "
"This was the perfect spot for our stay. We were visiting for the Grand Prix and you couldn’t beat the proximity to the circuit and restaurants. Very happy with our stay. Check in was easy, rooms were clean, staff was friendly. Our room did not have air conditioning but that was fine with us, the room cools down nicely with the window open and there was a great fan in the room. Our breakfast offering next door was very convenient and had bread, meats, cheeses, yogurt, granola, coffee, juices, fruit, hard boiled eggs. When leaving, a staff member at the restaurant next door called us a taxi which was very kind, as we didn’t have local service and the area was completely empty and void of transportation"
"Really pleasant check in. Fantastic room (new part of hotel) with complete black-out shutters, patio, comfortable beds, personal safe, fridge, TV, and lovely powerful shower.
Good food, especially the Schnitzel. Great local Bitburg bier and Benediktiner Weissbier.
Serving staff were very polite and helpful, allowing me to practice speaking German (poorly) but speaking really good English themselves.
Very good breakfast selection to suit just about everyone's needs.
Will definitely stay here again if in the area."
"A gorgeous hotel in the centre of a small town. It was initially difficult to find and locate the entrance to the underground car park but this turned out to be very convenient and totally safe. Check-in was easy but we were surprised that the best way to reach our room was by going out of the front of the hotel to re-enter by another door. This was not a problem and the lifts were good. The room was excellent, with a nice view of the town square. It was large with a king size bed, and a very nice bathroom. The breakfast buffet in the restaurant was plentiful with a wide selection of hot and cold options. The spa was an added bonus. Overall, a superb hotel."
"We liked the size of the room and where the hotel was located in the town. It was easy to access the F1 shuttle and walkable for many good cafes and restaurants. There was also a very cute dog that may have lived with the owner that was a big highlight. We did not like the condition of the hotel or room. The pictures on the website were obviously of a better time for the hotel. The bed was uncomfortable, the two very old pillows were almost not pillows, the bed linens and towels were very worn. The shower had great water pressure but the shower enclosure was awkward and ineffective. The bathroom floor was very slippery with so much water getting on it. There was no tv, the wifi was not good and the parking is just general street parking ( which we had no problem finding parking). Overall, I would personally not stay at this hotel again. It is way too run down and old. However the place would be cute if some love and care was put back into it. "
