"A really lovely property - very clean, well equipped and comfortable. Great location in the Peak District with pubs in walking distance and short distance in a car to lots of activities and places of interest. Offroad parking for at least 2 cars. The property is pet friendly with hard floors throughout the ground floor but the garden is small and not the most secure if your dog is large or an escape artist. "We had an accessible room with twin beds and a wet room shower. It was lovely and clean. I am never sure why the accessibility bathrooms are never quite right in their design. Whilst there was a shaver socket, there was no shelf near the sink to put things on. The area that had space had the towels place there but there was not enough protection from the shower curtain to stop water getting to that area until I altered the way the shower curtain was hung to keep the towels dry and our wash bags but that then left the floor by the sink getting splashed ! The actual sink was very small and set at a height for wheelchair use but you’d have trouble getting a wheelchair in there. The bathroom needed to meet the needs of my partner which the shower seat provided did but it was difficult for me, his carer, to wash at such a small low sink ! Mirror did not have condensation clearing finish which was disappointing! It was fine for a one night stop over but not for a longer stay. We enjoyed the menu choice in the evening and the food was tasty and served well. Breakfast was the same, very helpful staff and a good selection. "

"We had a lovely 2 night stay at the Beeches. We had an evening meal too wgich was excellent. Lots of variety at breakfast - which is self service. Delicious croissants and fresh fruit and yoghurt, cereal too. They have thought carefully about the hear too with a large fan in the room and ice water on arrival."
