"was here last year and returned this year stayed 4 days mall across the street, great service, breakfast was good, well maintained property there was a slight issue with power the first day I was there and one elevator was out of service for one day but overall I was pleased with my stay. Recommend some sort of entertainment in the evenings and maybe a happy hour to encourage a more entertaining ambiance "

"I stayed in a room with a terrace and it was lovely. I was worried that the Murphy bed might be uncomfortable, but it was very comfortable! The terrace was huge and with lots of places to sit and some shade. The room was larger than I expected, very clean and comfortable with a/c, a ceiling fan, a great closet (with lots of hangers) and very functional bathroom. The location of the hotel is excellent - a short walk to everything in Old San Juan, and each staff member I had contact with was extremely friendly and helpful. The building itself is also very beautiful. I would absolutely recommend staying at the Decanter, it was better than I expected and was a great stay in Old San Juan!"
