Great City Centre Apartment but Close to the Beach

The apartment was really spacious, had period charm and was fully equipped, save for a clothes drying rack. The bedroom was well away from the street and quiet. The aircon was effective and also quiet so it could be left on in the bedroom overnight. We particularly liked being very close to a variety of coffee shops, supermarkets and restaurants as well as a 10 min stroll to the beach. Apart from the lack of a clothes drying rack, which was surprising considering the presence of a washing machine and ironing board, the only other issues were the kitchen tap did not swivel as intended between the 2 sinks and was loose. Also there were no English TV channels although this was a minor problem for us. The apartment is rented via an agency (Bennecke) who are based in Torrevieja some 50km from Alicante. They tend to use standard documents for communications which may not relate to the apartment and are confusing. For e.g. the access instructions refer to visiting the office in Torrevieja or if out of hours accessing a key safe for which a code will be sent once a credit card is registered. Also a code was supplied for accessing the building. There is no key safe nor access to the building by a code. Infact someone will meet you at the apartment and although mentioned in the document is nevertheless confusing. They also appear bureaucratic and state they should not be contacted by phone, text or email but an online form should be submitted for any issues.

Middenin het bruisende leven van Alicante!

Prima appartement. Ruim en zeer netjes en verzorgd. Centraal gelegen, strand, de haven en alle overige faciliteiten op loopafstand. Zeer vriendelijke dame bij incheck die redelijk Engels sprak. Zeer vriendelijke dame bij uitcheck die helaas geen Engels sprak. Incheck en uitcheck waren op de minuut op tijd. Alle gewenste voorzieningen zijn in het appartement aanwezig. Het appartement heeft een hoog afwerkniveau. De keuken is zeer ruim en rijk opgezet met alle benodigde voorzieningen. De badkamer is al minstens zo ruim en van alles voorzien. Helaas is er geen mogelijkheid om de handdouche in het ligbad ergens op te hangen maar moet je deze vasthouden. Een meer dan prima appartement waar het na een dag door de stad wandelen, terrasjes zitten, eten & drinken, op het strand liggen heerlijk thuiskomen is!

Excellent, large appartment

A large, fully equipped appartment (washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, cooker etc). About five minutes from the beach. Close to many restaurants, bars, and local shops. Located on quite a busy road, but bedroom at the back of the appartment, well away from the road, and so this is not a problem. I would say perfect. This is not a hotel. It is an appartment so the remarks concerning hotel staff etc are irrelevant here, but are an obligatory field on the questionnaire.

Hervorragendes City-Appartement strandnah

Paar, 1 Woche Stadt-/Strandurlaub zu Ostern: perfekt. Eine Belegung mit drei Personen verkraftet das Appartement ohne weiteres.
