"The hotel is in a great Upper West Side location, close to restaurants and local shops and very close to Central Park and the 79th st subway. The rooms are comfortable and clean and the staff are friendly and helpful. The hotel is very traditional style and feels a bit dated but the room had everything we needed and the bathroom was larger than other NYC hotels we have stayed in. The junior suite was more of a large room than a suite. The only down side was that all the junior suites are inward facing so very dark. If I were to visit again would be inclned to book a regular room with the hope I could get an exterior facing location."

"Check in was super quick and easy. Staff was very nice. Our room was clean and just want we needed. The hotel was clean. It was a small little hotel but very nice. We were very happy with our stay."
Hotel Belleclaire Central Park, a Small Luxury Hotel
"This is our first time staying at Belleclaire. We were very impressed with the hotel. The rooms were clean and quiet and enough space to move around easily. We liked the bakery in the hotel but didn't get a chance to go the bar (next time). For an old hotel, it is in great shape, everything is painted well, and looks well cared for. My only real con is that there is no place for personal toiletries in the bathroom. A shelf of some kind would help in this case. We will be back again as we are regular visitors to the Upper West Side. Look forward to staying here again. Thanks to the staff for all their help they gave us in arriving and leaving. It is a beautiful hotel. You should be proud."

"Room was clean and lovely. Bedding and mattress were good quality. Staff was friendly and helpful. One elevator was down and the vending machines are all empty. Breakfast bar could use some healthy options. Yogurt and fruit perhaps. T v reception was also poor. Overall a good experience at an affordable rate."
