"New hotel in Alba Iulia. Nice built. The area is kind of strange. Little parking available.Breakfast was not very good. Staff was inattentive, lots of buffer items were not replenished."
"Initial contact wasn’t good. I contacted the hotel before travelling. Told them would be there at around 03:00. I was told to use intercom. It didn’t work. Apparently I should have been given a code but still wouldn’t have my key. Luckily I had family in Deva. Next morning trying to check in I was shouted at by a very rude desk lady whilst trying to explain. I had no paperwork from Expedia. So had to manually fill out forms. Got my key but took 3 days to get front door code.
Breakfast was basic at best. Hot food was barely warm. No juice just squash. Not worth it.
On the plus side the hotel is perfectly situated in Deva. Everything in easy walking distance.
The room wasn’t cleaned in a week. There was no hot water for 3 days. Even after making the front desk aware. That said if I need a hotel in Deva again I would return. Plenty of cheap street food to eat nearby. There’s a supermarket right next door. Room has. A fridge but the bin a single one in the bathroom is minuscule. Only one plug that had to be used for AC. So you have a choice of a cool room or charging devices. Check out was easy and smooth. "
"Our hostess was terrific. Breakfast was wonderful. Suite was immaculate and well-appointed. We visited another bandb in the area, and Vila Sarisa was so much nicer. Quiet, safe neighbourhood, close to amenities."
