Very close to the theme park you’ll find the National Park De Sallandse Heuvelrug, where you can enjoy nature at its best.
About a 20 minute drive to the east of Almelo you’ll find a village with a very rich cultural heritage, loads of small alleyways lined with old buildings and lots of art galleries: Ootmarsum.
