"I arrived at 3am. The plesant lady at the front desk was very gelpful and informational. She went above and beyond ro make sure we had what we needed."
"The room was quaint and clean. There was a working microwave and fridge. Hot water in the shower. However, the staff never answer the phone. When we call and leave a voicemail, we get a response 2 days later if at all. They did allow early check in which was good. But when we came to stay in the evening around 10:00 pm, after our college reunion program, it was 64 degrees. The heater did not respond to the thermostat. We called the hotel number but of course there was no answer. So we had a really cold night and morning before we checked out the next morning. There was no way to confirm checkout so we left a note and a voicemail. It is unlikely we would stay here again, even though family live nearby. We have heard the ice cream stand next door is good - but we didn't have a chance to try it."
"When I arrived, the room was dirty with dried urine on the toilet rim, hair in the sink and tub and dirty towels. There was dust on shelves and on the lightbulbs at the desk and on the nightstand. On top of the lack of cleanliness, the bed frames were old metal frames that made a lot of noise even at the slightest touch because they had rusted in some areas. "
"It is hard to find the bathroom light switch in the dark. An easy fix, but not a great greeting after a long trip.
The room was clean but an extra blanket would be nice.
I would suggest that you use the word "precisely....at 8:30."
Our breakfast was fresh and hot, but another couple came down later after their plates had been served on the table long before they arrived. I don't find any excuse for that.
Breakfast was decent but hardly chef-prepared.
We learned to ask questions about accessibility after confronting the stairs to the second floor.
The setting is beautiful. The facility is well-marked from the highway and is in a very safe area. A fully-present host would help."
"I stood in the lobby for 15 mins, I called but never heard a phone or anyone pick up.. got to the room, room was super hot! Heat wouldn’t turn off at all. AC hardly worked. ABSOLUTELY NO HOT WATER. (Yes I said something but they didn’t understand I guess). Also, tired saying my check out was yesterday (Friday) so they were knocking on my door at 11:05Am."
