"The heated pool and jacuzzi were the best after a day of hiking. Did not utilize the sauna or exercise area. The atmosphere of the lodge was clean and comfortable. Staff were so pleasant and accommodating. Had to use stairs for the many levels. Not ADA compliant for those in need from my experience. The room had more than expected. Full kitchen/living area and private bedroom. Would definitely book this lodge again in the future! "

"Found a vacancy at the last minute during peak leaf season. Was very pleased with the property - very clean, gas logs were amazing. We were there only one night so didn't spend a lot of time but would definitely return. Off the Blue Ridge Parkway but very close to Blowing Rock."

"Very quiet Lovely location"

"The staff were warm and welcoming, and so excited to see my adorable kitty. The room was pet friendly including fabric on the sofa that was scratch proof. The only issue is that the sink cabinet is not fully enclosed. It has an opening large enough for a cat to jump inside and hide. This was extremely concerning when it first happened. I was able to close the opening with packing tape to prevent this from happening again. However, this seems like a detail that the hotel should address as they are a cat friendly facility."
