"Reception staff were great. The room was clean and well maintained although maybe a little over priced. What let this hotel down for me are the staff in the Sky Restaurant and Bar who are frankly totally aloof. Their customer service skills need retraining. Trying to get their attention and ordering was painful. They are really quite miserable and not at all welcoming. This is something I have experienced before when I was last in Salzburg with my wife and we ate in the Sky Restaurant so it seems that this is the norm."

"The air conditioning was wonderful, the hotel room was clean and spacious, and we loved the free public transportation around the corner from the hotel. We would absolutely stay again. No complaints except that I accidentally booked for 1 person instead of two and the fee was 40 extra euro per night (I thought he said it would be 40 euro total for my two nights, not 80 total) so there was a miscommunication."

"We had a fantastic stay at Hotel Imlauer & Bräu. The staff were wonderful and made us feel genuinely welcome throughout our visit. The location was excellent - very close to Mirabell Palace and Gardens and within easy walking distance of Salzburg's main sights, while still being peaceful and quiet. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, would happily return on a future trip to Salzburg, and would highly recommend this hotel to others."

"I was traveling with my husband and our two teenage sons. We only stayed at this hotel for one night but I would have happily stayed longer. The four of us had plenty of space and the room was clean. There was AC and it was quiet. It was a 2 min walk from the station which was very convenient. The best part was the breakfast. They had a juicer so you could make fresh juice, coffee machines with multiple options, different teas etc. for food there were different pastries and breads with several jams and honey. They had hot foods - fried eggs, scrambled eggs, meats, crepes, pancakes. They had cereals and yogurts. They even had a chocolate fountain with bananas and strawberries which our sons took full advantage of. Would stay here again and would recommend."
