"The lodging was fine. But we had a situation upon arrival that was a bit uncomfortable as no one was available to receive us. Hence, this is more of a criticism of the platform hotels.com because we received an email that said the booking is confirmed and only much further down the email in small print did it notify that we needed to contact the property 24 hours in advance to make arrangements for access to property. Further down the line, it indicated only a phone number for special requests....

"Beware the parking lot in front of the hotel signs indicating that it is a pay-per-hour lot are small and text is small. It is patrolled by a private company and the fine is $150. If you live outside Denmark,you have to wire money from your bank to the Danish bank specified on the ticket, which is another $25. Otherwise, hotel is nice. No kettle or coffee/ tea amenities in room. "

Our room was gorgeous, clean, and well maintained. The beds were very comfortable. We didn’t have a chance to use the pool but the gym was great - had everything you might need and was large, bright, and clean.
Getting into the city center from the hotel is extremely easy, though note there’s a decent amount of amenities around the hotel like some great bakeries. I also found the surrounding streets lovely for running.
My only complaint is really more of a modern hotel design trend - it’s really terrible to have a clear view to the bathroom and shower. I was traveling with my brother and this made it rather inconvenient. Overall our stay was still great and I’d stay here again. "
