"I can’t rate this accomodation highly enough. The cabin itself was beautiful, we loved the view and the jacuzzi was incredible. We were even lucky enough to see the northern lights 2 out of the 4 nights we stayed thanks to the glass roof! We were always very warm with the underfloor heating ans fireplace, and had all the facilities we needed. We had car issues on the way to a tour, and the owner went out of his way to call to have this fixed (he had absolutely no obligation to help), and drove us to our tour so we didn’t miss out. We also had breakfast delivered to the cabin one morning and it was fantastic. If staying, please make sure you are confident in driving in difficult conditions!"

"So wanted to come here to stop in the Ice Hotel. Slept really well! On arrival they took you through the procedure for sleeping in the Ice room. The sleeping bags were very warm and due to my thermals I was very earm and comfortable. Theres places to sit if you needed to to come back in and warm up. Spar is great, breakfast good, lots of choice. If you dont have a car I do recommend booking the hotel shuttle. 500 nok one way and 25 mins to the airport. I only stopped one night. Will definately be coming back again but for longer. This was at the end of a two week trip around Norway Highly recommend! L"

"This room seemed to be a bit older or maybe other rooms I’ve stayed in have been updated recently. This does not take away from it being a pleasant stay and a comfortable room. I am a solo traveller and it was good for me being the queen bed option. I feel a couple might be a bit tight but definitely doable. The staff were very friendly and remembered me. Got me in a tad earlier than check in, which was appreciated. The local bus is only a short walk to the hotel, and the town is so small that you could walk anywhere in the main “city” from the hotel. I will stay here next time I’m in Alta."
