"Front desk check in with Courtney was easy and pleasant. Upon walking into the room my shoes were sticking to the floor. I had to mop the floor with a wet cloth to stop the sucking noise - the cloth was black when I finished. Since it was only a quick one night stay, we decided to live with it. The curtains covered the AC and had to be adjusted repeatedly throughout the night. When we couldn’t get the tv to work (after trying all the “inputs”) I called the front desk and asked for help. The attendant told me he’d be to the room in “5 to 10 minutes “. After an hour I went to the front desk and I was the one who had called for help. The front desk response: “I got slammed and didn’t remember which room. “. No apology, no ownership, no responsibility. Will not stay here again. "
"Nice hotel with great staff. Pillows were tiny but there were plenty to stack. Kids swam in the pool but it would not have fit very many more than my 2. Breakfast was great! We always love a good waffle machine but the biscuits and gravy were pretty good too! The surrounding area was nice and lots of places to eat/shop nearby."
"first thing I noticed was the smoke smell in the hallway and then the strong perfume smell by the door ofnour room. it's like somebosy just sprayed the perfume by the entrance to cover other smell. there was a strong smell of marijuana as well coming from one of the rooms. carpet looked filthy. elevator needs update esp the buttons. breakfast was horrible. sausages looked so pale. coffee was too weak. staff looked all tired. towels were all worn out some even had tears along the sides."
"The room itself was comfortable and clean. However, the bathroom was a disgrace. The glazing on the porcelain tub was cracked and peeling, and completely discolored. Also, the exhaust fan in the bathroom was scary looking. I should have taken pictures!
Breakfast: the butter and sour cream were locked-up, and there was no one in sight to ask for the refrigerator to be unlocked. There was a doorbell at the front desk that said "ring for service". I rang it twice, and no one ever came."
"Everything at the hotel was good though, as part of a chain, there was nothing specific that stood out. For us, however, a peaceful room, comfortable bed, and a decent breakfast in the morning make it worthwhile."
