"I think this would be a wonderful place for a romantic getaway. We’re an older couple. There was no handrails to come in the back way, which is the way. It was suggested to me because there’d be less stairs that way.. While the room was cute and charming with a beautiful bathtub, which I’m not able to use, a fireplace that we couldn’t use because the only place to put our large piece of luggage was on the floor in front of the fireplace. There was a stand that we could place our carry-on. The bathroom has very limited space to place any of our toiletries. The shower was good. The owners had snacks put out that you could help yourself to, including some wine.I didn’t find the coffee machine until the night before we checked out. The bed was wonderful. The owner asked if I had family in the area when we checked out and of course we did that’s why we stayed there. We had always driven by it and thought it was very charming and I was excited to be able to stay there. She said she was surprised we were there for as long as we were, evidently like I mentioned it’s a place for a romantic getaway. The grounds are lovely. I would certainly recommend it for a romantic getaway. Just don’t take much luggage perhaps just overnight stuff. We’re glad we stayed there, it’s a very charming place. I wish the owners well they are very nice and it’s a newer endeavor for them. When we left all the rooms were full, so I’m sure they will be very successful with this new endeavor."
