"Well, I railed the BW Murdo the other day, so I’m going to even out my karma by providing an honest and straightforward review of the BW Devil’s Tower. Let me first say thank you for the patience and kindness of the front desk person. Usually, when we pull into a hotel lobby, 70 percent of the time 100 percent of the staff are rude or at least impatient and gruff. She was not. A lady who had obviously lost or un-keyed her room key multiple times (the elders often don’t understand that phones will de-magnetize them), had returned again and the young lady was exceedingly patient and kind. Full marks, young hospitalitarian. Then, I discover that the pool and hot tub were open until 11:00pm which never happens and delighted my husband and me more than a buy-one-get-one free pizza special for a kid who just found out their mom was lying to them about being allergic to gluten. We had been camping the previous few nights and had discovered night one that both of our inflatable camp mats no longer inflated, leaving our aging bones flat on the ground. So it was an gift from the hot tub gods to be able to soak our bones for the first time in years. The room was expansive. The tv worked. The room was clean. The shower was good. The beds were great. Breakfast was better than you get at many Marriotts. I’ll die on the “give me real scrambled eggs and some bacon” hill. But this is one of the better BWs. And exactly why we take our chances on BW. We loved it."
