"The room was clean and they have refurbished. The AC however has not been update. We had to call maintenance out as the room was not cooling. They came and adjusted but still not cold. "We enjoyed our stay at the Almyra, highlights were breakfast and the pools. However there were a couple of things which stopped it being brilliant: -poor WiFi coverage (it constantly kept disconnecting which was very frustrating) -loud aircon (didn’t disrupt us too much as we visited out of season but I imagine this would be disruptive to those visiting in summer). -lack of soundproofing in the ground floor rooms to the street. It was really noisy near the bars and the hotel could have soundproofed better."
