"Hotel Contessina is brilliant. An oasis of a hotel in what is a bustling resort town. Once inside the doors you could be anywhere in the world. The design of the renovated hotel is brilliant. Modern and sophisticated, and the planting is beautifully done. We enjoyed 2 weeks here, using it as a base to discover the island when we had a car for some of the time. The main pool area is lovely, but be warned, all of the pools are 1.4m deep with no shallow / deep ends."

"This hotel is spectacular. The food is outstanding and a really well thought out menu each night. The staff are on their A game and nothing is too much trouble. "The hotel is in an excellent location, just two minutes from a nice beach, five minutes from the main square, and yet in a quiet spot. The staff are exceptionally polite and helpful. The breakfast is superb, and the hotel has its own parking area."
