"The room wasn't as clean as should be and the space for luggage was extremely limited. The area was great with delicious restaurants very close and good shopping within walking distance. The AC worked well to cool the room. "

"My stay at Living like Hotel Hakataekiminami was okay overall, but several issues affected the experience. On the positive side, the room had plenty of towels, and the provided shampoo, conditioner, and body wash were convenient. The staff was also responsive on chat, which I appreciated โ but unfortunately, almost everything I asked about was met with, โNo, we do not have that,โ or โWe do not provide that.โ
There were a number of cons as well. I had to wait exactly until 3:00 PM to check in;...

"Good for families. Wish there was more floor space to spread out. No hooks for towels and only one pot for cooking. Full kitchen was a plus as was the washing machine. Great location and nice building. Would definitely stay again if I return to Fukuoka. "

"Great location with lots of shopping nearby. Very trendy area. Shout out to the coffee stand opposite the hotel - we visited everyday.
However it's an apartment so you are expected to keep the place clean. We didn't use the loft at all because it felt flimsy and tiny for bigger sized people. We just slept on the sofa bed and created a makeshift sleeping area in the living room. Heating on the first floor is poor. We were quite cold during the winter."

"I needed an extra quilt. However, the front desk demanded I pay 5,000 yen for it. (Not a deposit). It is both surprising and disappointing to be subject to such a demand in Japan, a country that prides itself on hospitality called "omotenashi", which means wholeheartedly looking after guests.
I will definitely revisit Kyushu but I will not stay at this hotel again."
"Enjoyed my stay! Very small room so happy I was solo and it wasnโt for too long, but that was exactly as expected. Staff were very helpful, I was even able to weigh my luggage in the lobby. Laundry is available on the 4th and 7th floors, and you either have to pay with exact change (with only 100, 500 yen coins) or download an app so you can pay with your phone, but it worked well once I figured that out. Location also super convenient. About a 10 min walk from any subway stops, and in the middle of a super cool area with a couple convenience stores less than a block away. Would recommend and would stay there again!"
"Convenient location near the station. Staff were friendly, professional, and helpful. Really appreciate having a washing machine inside the room. Thank you."
