Absolutely beautiful property owned by a lovely and accommodating team. Alessio and the other team members were fantastic, making us feel welcome every second of our stay. Close enough to Amalfi yet away from the hustle and bustle. Upper area for drinks at night. Great breakfast set up. Thank you!

Family Love

Perfect place to stay while on the Amalfi coast. Clean and beautiful. Wonderful people that will take care of you while you are visiting. Away from the crowds with easy access to transportation. Excellent restaurants in the area. Will stay there again next time we visit!

Good location, short bus trip (10 mins, 2.2 euro) bus trip from main port of Amalfi. Super friendly and helpful staff. Public beach within walking distance (less crowded than main beach of Amalfi or Positano)

Of the three b&b’s we stayed in Italy, this was the best! It had the most stunning views, spotlessly clean room, and kind/accommodating staff. Martina and Alessio are wonderful hosts! It made all the difference. The usual Italian breakfast was served in addition to a delightful lemon cake Martina made from their own lemons. It was a 40 minute walk into the main village of Amalfi but right on the main bus route with bus stops. Even though there’s no shoulder to walk on, we were ok and really enjoyed the panoramic views the 3 times we walked into town. Wonderful experience my first visit to the Amalfi coast. Martina and the lady who served breakfast are absolute sweethearts!

Unbeatable view! Somewhat walkable with bus stop steps away. Martina & Alessio go above and beyond to help arrange transportation options when needed. Don’t hesitate to ask, they are kind and welcoming. Staff are pleasant and accommodating. The garden is an oasis, the food is fresh and delicious. Would absolutely stay here again.

Hotel is right outside of crazy busy amalfi in the road to Positano Perched on a hill with 180 degree views of the ocean we had a great family suite with a huge terrace. Very comfortable beds and a very nice closet with refrigerator The air conditioner worked great keeping the warm nice and chilly The family that owns this hotel is very sweet and they went out of their way to help us with local transportation and restaurant recommendations There is a restaurant downstairs but we never ate there Overall I highly recommend this hotel for families wanting g to get away from the tourist trap of amalfi and Positano

Great Stay at Amalfi Coast

First of all, the hotel has a wonderful sea view (if you choose a sea view delux room) It is located in the middle of Amalfi and Positano, so you can visit both places easily. You dont need to climb up to hills as in most Amalfi hotels. The acess is very easy since its located on the main amalfi coast road. So you park your car and you are in the hotel They have a car park (daily fee is 30 euros) Also bus station is very close if you dont rent a car. The breaksfast was really above expectations, they serve cheeses, jams, cakes, eggs, fruits, kruvasans of course and good quality coffe and tea. All included in the hotel price. The team is very helpful and ready to support you anytime. I highly recommend this hotel for your Amalfi Coast vacations.

Home away from home

Our stay at Pesce D Oro was like staying with family . Alessio and Martini were so helpful. We were greeted with a welcome drink and they arranged for all transfers. When our son was stung by a sea urchin and needed to go to a hospital we couldn’t find a cab immediately, they volunteered dropped us at the hospital and picked us back up. The breakfast was fresh and served at the terrace under a lemon garden . The room was neat and well maintained. Thanks Martina and Alessi for everything!!

Beware the one room off the breakfast area!

The hosts were very helpful arranging drivers and making suggestions for our stay. The restaurant is very, very good! The only thing I would like to caution guests about is to be sure you get a room on the upper floors. Our room was on the main floor and had a connecting door to the breakfast dining area. It was noisy in the mornings as the other guests dined. In addition, when we opened our door, other guests eating breakfast could see directly into our bathroom. Our balcony had a wall that you could not see over unless you stood up. Other rooms on upper floors had only railings with great views. At night, the noise in the room above us kept us awake. You will have a lovely time and have a great room unless you are unlucky enough to get the one room downstairs off the breakfast area. The pictures and descriptions online give no warning about this room. I wish I had known…..

Everything about this stay was absolutely excellent. Beautiful view. Alessio & Martina couldnt have been more helpful. They set up transfers for us several times. Breakfast was great. I cant wait to stay there again !!!!
