"The room was clean, everything worked, the bed was nice. The bed had 4 pillows. I tried to get access to my room early, that didn't work. So I waited outside on the coldest day of the year. Oh well."

"This is the “only” place to stay in Death Valley. The “Inn” is excellent a true and beautiful oasis. The sister property in Furnace Creek (breakfast brunch) is my only negative comments. Don’t do it”. Not clean, food not refreshed, old food on the bottom of my new plate. I received a refund and when back up the “Inn” for a proper meal. "

"This run-down hotel is bursting with love and pride, which more than accommodate for its many obvious shortcomings. I love it. The staff were stellar -- especially Tammy, at the front desk. This hotel is not for everyone, but, for the patron of a certain ilk, it is pure magic."
