"The tour guides are extremely knowledgeable about the local fauna and flora. Everyone is very friendly. The food is typical for Brazilian standards, but more is provided then you can ever eat. Unfortunately, the beds do not have mosquito nets, so the only way to keep them out is to constantly have the AC running on low temperature, which gave me a mild cold for 3 days. "We had a great time at the lodge! Many activities such as fishing, visiting an island of monkeys, and seeing a lot of wild animals. Given the fact that there is little or no electricity, we were able to disconnect ourselves for a few days in order to really relax. The rooms are very charming and the staff was great to answer questions and concerns. Our guide Manuel was great!! Very recomendable because he really knew his way along the jungle and never made us feel anything less than spectacular....
