"Chose this B & B as it was close to the Canal du Nivernais and had good reviews. I was not disappointed. I was the only guest but was offered a 3 course evening meal - very good. "When we walked in the bed was unmade.. which made me question if it was changed at all after previous guests.. when we moved bed cover there was someone’s t-shirt… NO towels at all, no fridge/coffee/microwave (just be aware) and AC made a huge puddle on the floor only after several hours running. "Not to be mistaken for a hotel, this is a self service set of prehistoric rooms, except for the pricing. Cleanliness is subpar, towels are older than my grandmother, and air conditioning is not a technology that has reached this part of the world. I was desperate to get some rest, but good luck doing so in 30 deg C temperature with no air conditioning. Oh and not to forget the noise from the restaurant downstairs right beneath my window. I arrived in the afternoon around 3pm to find the door...
