"We were late booking accommodation for Goodwood so didn’t have many options without needing to remortgage the house. We choose Marine Court for price and location. We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived as it’s actually a firefighters charity who rent their rooms out of a weekend, and is used for firefighters rehab during the week. "The hotel building and grounds are absolutely beautiful. We had a dog friendly room on the ground floor and it was very clean and comfortable. Yes, it’s a little dated maybe but we expected that and given that we only paid £58 for the night, I think value for money was excellent. Staff were lovely, can’t comment on the restaurant or breakfast as we didn’t eat there."
