"I enjoyed my stay. I was desperately looking for a room within the beach distance ASAP. Reviews weren’t encouraging, but I got a clean room with a clean bathroom. Also very affordable. I had a good night rest. Staff were polite too. I recommend this place."

"My wife and I loved this currently old style quirky hotel although the hotel is currently undergoing refurbishment which did not spoil our stay. The hotel was central to everything. All the staff we came across were very friendly, happy to help and tried their best to accommodate us. Breakfast is good and plentiful and a lot of choice. Our room on the first floor west wing was lovely big including the comfortable bed. The only small downsize was maybe the toiler/shower need upgrading and the lighting/electrics as well. I did get the feeling that the hotel was trying to keep the standard high and their best to keep customers satisfied maybe because the refurbishment but none of that affected us. We would certainly come back again"
