There are large single family houses with gardens on the street and recreational park some 10 min walk away, it has a cable car which will take you down to the city centre in 2 min. "The location is the only downside for this hotel - it is away from the central city, on the road to Tbilisi. Quite a few locals were staying - maybe they were driving. I was caught in the rain: I turned up looking like a drowned rat and the fellow on reception couldn't have been kinder. He wanted to carry my backpack but it was easier for me to do so: he took me to my room, got the heater working, found a hairdryer and showed me where everything was.

Arrived at night to be told, we don’t have a room. Didn’t matter that I had a booking. No sympathy or apology. Had to find a hotel elsewhere with a taxi.
A month later, and there’s still been no refund or apology. Very poor behaviour "
