The room I booked with Expedia and the receipt and description when I booked clearly stated "Double Room Queen Bed". When I arrive I'm told I have a room with 1 Queen Bed and a pull out couch. There seems to be a disconnect between what Expedia advertised and what was communicated to the hotel. Had I have know I was not getting a "Double Room Queen Bed" at the time of booking I would have looked at alternatives in the area that better suited. I would like a significant discount on this booking as a result, as the room was ultimately falsely advertised and I did NOT receive what I had paid for and booked.

The person on the front desk was wonderful. She was pleasant and told me the best way to get to my room and even offered to help me with my luggage if I needed it. Later she recommended a great restaurant for a lovely sit down dinner. A great way to wrap up my day.

The breakfast was really weird. They have a standard breakfast set up (eggs, toast, bacon, cereal, etc) but only 3 tables to eat at. Made it super awkward for everyone.
Also the bathroom in the lobby is labeled as a "staff only" room.
Clean enough place with nice staff, just really weird vibes from random things.

I was super disappointed to have uncomfortable the beds were! Took me a couple hours to walk without pain- I am also pregnant but I was quite disappointed in that part! Otherwise, good stay.

the common areas are in need of an update. the impression of the lobby is outdated/old/dark. only 3 small tables in breakfast area. red couch in lobby quite shabby and worn. breakfast offerings were average/good. coffee was good. we unfortunately were placed beside hallway fire door which banged shut and was quite noisy. bed vey comfortable, linens good

Your evening check in person - gjanes - is what customer service is meant to be. Welcoming, competent, helpful and sent us up the street to a very good meal.
Our other comment is to do with the automatic lighting. It is most annoying to be reading and the lights go out. No one we asked had a solution to disable them. When using the bathroom at night you were assaulted by bright light on entering the room. There was a perfectly adequate night light in the bathroom. Seems like a good idea in theory however not in practice.

We stayed in room 109, and it smelled extremely bad. Very musky and moldy smell. There was carpet on the floor and it smelled like it got wet and mildewed instead of drying completely. Very old feeling.
