"Casa Dona Antonia was nothing short of spectacular! Monsaraz IS spectacular but the opportunity to sleep there in such an impeccable lodge made it so much more memorable. Kudos to the manager, Carlos! Our stay was just PERFECT!"
"This wonderful older building became a hotel in 1900, which might have been the occasion of the last renovation. Today, faded glory is probably the best description.
I stayed in Room 1, a room that should not be used for guest accommodation. It looks onto a square but, perhaps for preservation reasons, there is no attempt a sound mitigation at all. Similarly, all the noise from the lobby, bar area arrives unfiltered into Room 1, which on a Friday night continued into the wee, small hours."
"A magical quiet location that we returned to after our 1st visit 8 years ago. We loved the new pool, bar and restaurant. The staff are amazing while they seemed overwhelmed with the volume of work. "
"Quinta do Paral hotel and winery is one experience you do not want to miss. From the moment we arrived and were greeted by staff and treated to a glass of their lovely wine we knew we were going to enjoy our stay. The rooms are modern and beautiful designed and decorated. You experience the sense of calm created by the beautiful landscape and the architecture of the hotel. The staff are excellent and the service is 5-star. The restaurant creates the perfect ambiance for dining and the food is creative and beautifully prepared and presented. Would like to thank Andreia, Marta, Bruma and Sofia for making our stay a memorable one. Would also like to thank the chef and his staff for our wonderful dining experiences. We look forward to our next stay. "
"Everything for this visit was better than advertised.
It is in an old Convent, but they have redone everything and the rooms are very modern, but you can walk the whole building and see several hundred years of history. Anna is super helpful and makes sure everything is perfect. One of the most peaceful and inspiring places we have ever visited. "
