Overall good hotel, value for money. Very friendly staff, lovely breakfast, very well located hotel in the center of Amiens. Only downside: the room was a bit dusty and small bed. Anyway i’d fully recommend for a short stay

Disappointing
To start, I'd like to say that the receptionist was very kind and professional. However, this doesn't take away from the fact that we were very disappointed overall with our stay and I found it to be so unacceptable that I feel obligated to leave a review and warn others to stay away. I travelled with my 8-month old baby and my husband. We booked a triple room and were given a triple room on the first floor that was different than the pictures listed on hotels.com. We were given a room on the first floor with a stroller and no elevator. Reception's solution was to leave the stroller out in the open in the courtyard, unguarded the entire night. We chose to fold the stroller up and drag it up the small staircase due to not wanting any damage or theft to occur. Secondly, the room was filthy and generally unkempt. I would have looked past being given a room different than the pictures, but to give us such a dirty room with a baby was appalling. There was water leftover from a previous guest in the water boiler, food and dirt on the table (only place to eat) and damage all over the walls. I immediately told the reception I wanted to leave and wanted a refund as it was not hygienic for my child to stay there. His solution was to give us a new room, which was a bit better but reeked of old cigarettes and had a dirty old towel in the interior window of the bathroom. Overall we did not feel relaxed at all and would not go back nor do we recommend this place.

Just one night here by could have been many more. Very friendly welcome including a five minute explanation of the city’s highlights. Had a walk around the city and a meal at ‘31’ in the St Leu area just north of the cathedral, all 10 minutes from the hotel. Thoroughly enjoyed it.

The staff were friendly and very helpful. We had an easy check in after a long drive. The hotel is less than 10 minutes walk from Amiens Cathedral and centre. The room was clean and quiet. Lovely buffet breakfast all freshly served.

I have stayed in a lot of hotels on this current trip to France & I can say that the breakfast served at this hotel was the best of them all. Three different fresh squeezed fruit juices, scrambled eggs, sausages, crepes, variety of breads, cheeses, fruits such as pears, even lox!! Another bonus was the less than 5 minute walk to the train station. The hotel was very centrally located & in a safe location across the street from the police station. Very good value.

Our room was one overlooking the back of the hotel. It was quiet and roomy enough. The breakfast was super, staff were very helpful and friendly...eager to assist when and where necessary without any fuss. Nice central location too!!

I lovely little hotel in a historic building - no elevator and the stair to the 2nd level are very narrow! Not a lot of sound proofing so you can hear everything beyond your walls!

The reception and dining areas are lovely, the bedrooms are plain with nothing to distinguish them from a box. TV was tiny and only in one of the two rooms. Intermediate door was hanging off the hinges. The staff were very friendly and helpful but the rooms were spartan. The lack of air conditioning or even a fan, in 40 degree heat was very unpleasant.

Christmas market in Amiens
Spent one night at this hotel as going to the Amiens Christmas market. Close to where the market is and the cathedral. Room was small but the bed was comfortable. Did not spend too much time in the hotel, but the staff were very nice and helpful. Would be happy to stay here again

Seems like a historic property that has been refurbished. Quite charming. Very comfortable. We didnt have the breakfast offering. Host was great - excellent dining choices provided.

Consider reviews closely before booking. Accurate. The hotel is in the best location near train and tourist district. The rooms are not clean, floors dusty, flat surfaces & ledges and the bathroom fan grate full of dust. Concerned that the management knows this from reviews yet nothing has changed. Zero cost and just effort to correct this!

when we arrived was told room would not be ready until 3pm, so went for a drink, when we got back we got the room was not good, lights didn't work (which we didn't find out until later,) carpet was not joined and had a gap between 2 pieces, television was a 20 inch flat screen which was like something out of the ark, there was a screw sticking out of the carpet trim so we couldn't shut the bathroom door, the decor was very poor, the shower cubicle was tiny no room to turn around, there was no where to hang towels, no toilet roll holder, when we went out for the next day we had taken our room key with us because nobody had told us to leave it behind so our room wasn't made up they only had 1 key (most have a master key), and when we checked out a day early the card machine wasn't working and was asked to run down the nearest cash point to get some cash needless to say i didn't, the photograph of the room on the web site looks very nice but trust me the other rooms are awful

Clean and eclectic hotel, across the road from the poloce station. The hotel seems to ha e undergone renovations which made our stay very comfortable. Only a short walk to the mall, train and bus station and the Cathedral. The staff were very obliging and friendly.

Excellent City Centre Location
The hotel looks a little tired from the outside, but once we stepped inside, we were pleasantly suprised. Very modern and clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Location was excellent. There is no on site parking but there's a city centre underground carpark next to the cathedral which was only 9Euros overnight and only a short walk to the hotel. We had a good night's sleep in their family room and enjoyed the buffet breakfast, Highly recommended.

In the Heart of this Lovely, Vibrant City!
We loved the Hotel Le Saint Louis from the. very start with the warm greeting at the reception desk. The staff was uniformly friendly and helpful. While the hotel's exterior is a tad shabby, this belies the sparkling condition of our room. The bathroom particularly was state of the art. We enjoyed very comfortable nights sleeping on crisp linens. Best of all, we woke up each morning to a FABULOUS French breakfast spread. Absolutely delicious!
