I booked this property due to its proximity to the Abdali bus station - wanting to hop the bus across the border to Israel. The hotel is less than a 2 minute walk to the ticketing office and Central bus station, connecting you to Petra, Aqaba, and the King Hussein border. Terrific location for commuting. Even though the hotel is on a major through way, it is in a quiet, safe neighborhood, but within a 5 walking distance of money changers, small mini markets, restaurants, banks, and other main roads. I was able to organize my tickets for onward travel, exchange USD for Shekel, and spend out my dinar all in under an hour. Great location!
I didn’t book the hotel for the amenities, but was pleasantly surprised at the offerings - air conditioning, satellite tv, big fridge, large bottles of shampoo and conditioner, soap, etc. My only comment is that the toilet is in an awkward spot in the bathroom, but this is quite common in the Middle East.
The staff were superb! Just superb. So extremely friendly, kind and welcoming! I met the manager also, who explained to me that his hotel was named after his 7 sons - 7 boys! Everyone working at reception and in the hotel was incredibly helpful and welcoming. Glowing reviews due to staff alone!
The staff went above and beyond for me - reception even packed me a nice little box breakfast for the bus ride to the border, despite my reservation not including breakfast!
Definitely I would return to this hotel again!
