Easily the safest and probably the cleanest motel 6 I’ve stayed at. Very family friendly, within walking distance to Disney, and they have a 24/7 store in the lobby for snacks and drinks

Pre booked another room at a different hotel only to arrive at 1am and their systems were down leaving us unable to checkin with our two dogs. Quickly booked a room here through Expedia and the night desk employee was incredibly friendly and helpful getting us checked in at 2:30 am. We were so relieved to not be staying in our car due to the other hotel’s problems, very thankful motel 6 came through. There were no excessive fees or deposits like other hotels in the area. We really appreciate the friendliness of the staff members, had no issues with the room and even ended up staying additional nights since the price and location were so convenient. It’s still motel 6 so check your expectations but would highly recommend this spot in a pinch.

We have been to multiple hotels in the Disneyland area over the years and Motel 6 Anaheim Maingate is our new go to hotel for all our future Disneyland trips. The hotel was quiet, clean, friendly helpful staff and only a 15 walk from the front gate. We loved our stay there.

Will NEVER stay here again. To start with the room had poor lighting, found hair in the sink and on the bathroom floor. The tub had brown stains on it. The bed was ok as far a comfort, but the sheets had stains on them and when we called the front desk to request the sheets be changed, they made us come to the front desk and get the new sheets and we had to change the bed ourselves, no housekeeping at night and the new sheets also had stains on them. We had to piece together clean sheet between the two sets. Also had to get the additional towels and pillows that we requested at check-in at the front desk. When we checked in was told that they had changed the parking from free to $20 and night and an additional charge per night of $17 for parking fees. This would have been $37 a night for parking. Was told that since we had reserved and paid for the room before the change that they would wave the parking charges. When we got to the room that night after being at Disney all day, the room key would not work. When we went to the front desk about the key not working was told that because we had went to Disney the key deactivated ( they could not tell us why). Have never had keys deactivate when in Disneyland, this was BS. The coffee in the lobby was like slug and the front desk staff didn't even care or check why. Considering the other issues and service, this response was par for the course.

No daily housekeeping or towel service, random housekeeping occurred and my contact fluid with a few toiletries disappeared, and the room was half cleaned. The motel instituted a $27 dollar parking fee per day that was not listed on the website when booking, no water pressure, the hot water control in the room did not work reliably which led to scalding, and the elevator was stuck at one point.

The night staff were great, they went above and beyond. They got me and my Dad a nice room away from the possibly loud pool area and were great conversation. The room was extremely clean and well maintained. The cleaning staff reset the room perfectly and I am a little shocked at the quality of service for the price. Great stay.

They didn't clean the rooms unless asked and then they just made the bed and put towels in my feet were black from walking around and bathrooms were terrible! Transits were sleeping next to the back of hotel! Hot tub was dirty!

Staffing was very nice and accommodating after we had to cancel our original hotel stay due to a power outage. Motel was nicely upgraded. Hot tub was very nice to have after spending long days walking around. Withing 2 blocks of lots of restaurants and shops. Only downfalls are its near the freeway which can be loud at times, and beds are stiff due to not having box springs.

I was pleasantly surprised with Motel 6 Anaheim Maingate! The room was great and the staff was amazing! I really appreciate having a wonderful stay! It’s easy to get an Uber for $5-6 to Disneyland. And the staff was helpful to find close options for dining. Thank you!!!

Nice and clean no frills motel right near Disneyland, just 15 minute walk! Many restaurants walking distance. Coffee in room, as well at front desk with a microwave. Nice pool as well. Definitely a great place!

I guess you get what you pay for! Also they say parking in included for 1 car but you still have to pay $20 a day! Also they went into my room and did nothing but put 2 towels in the bathroom when we didn’t even ask for any towels when I asked the front desk they had no idea and no response.

I called ahead and talked to Juan requesting a baby crib he said I put that down o oh to come to check in and be told they don’t even have baby beds. During check in we were told that their card machine was down and they premade room keys and lost our room key so they had to have security let us in our room and just not have a room key. They couldn’t find security at first and finally did and he was very nice but clearly was off smoking pot. Next day we asked for room keys and the guy at the front desk said no but a lady came up and made us one key.no one could give us clear instructions on how to use the art bus so we just downloaded the app. the room was very clean.

Hotel was very basic as expected based on price. Getting woken up by arguing/screaming guests nearby was very upsetting. And when reported to front desk nothing was done about it nor did they apologize for the inconvenience.
